Zumie (A21357042) is ready to zoom zoom right into your heart and your life! Zumie is an incredibly sweet and friendly girl! She wiggles with delight when she sees you and she just loves to cuddle. Zumie has been to adoption events where she has met people of all ages, including kids, and she did great with everyone. She was very polite and gentle and loving.
Zumie also loves to play! She is very friendly and playful with other dogs (check out her video!). She’s met dogs of all sizes and has done really well! She had an unfortunate incident very recently in which she was bitten by another dog during a dog meet. She is currently recovering well from her wound and her pen pals are working to give her lots of positive dog interactions to make sure she isn’t nervous when meeting new dogs. Zumie is a really friendly gal and she will certainly bounce back from this just fine! Since she is an active, playful girl, she would really love a playmate who enjoys romping around and being silly just as much as she does.
Zumie has been working on learning some basic commands and definitely thinks learning is fun! She has already picked a few new tricks (like “sit” and “down”) and will be ready to continue her training with a smile in her new home.
Zumie is approximately a year old. She is a petite thing at just about 34 pounds. She is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her shots so she is ready to go home today! If you are considering fostering, Zumie would be a great candidate as she could use a quiet, comfortable place to recover from her wound more quickly than she would in the shelter. This sweet girl has had a streak of bad luck and has not found that right family yet. Perhaps, you are the one she’s been holding out for?
