Meet this adorable, young dog named Troy (A22170653)!
Troy is a year old, tan and white, 30 pound, Terrier/ Pitbull mix who was found as a stray in Philadelphia. He came into the shelter a skinny, timid boy, but he’s opening up now to show us what a sweetheart he can be!
Troy loves to go on walks & loves to be petted (he has the softest fur too!). Then he’ll snuggle with you afterwards! Troy is social with other dogs and tries to initiate play. We think he’d do well with an older sibling to show him the doggy ropes.
Since Troy is still quite young, we recommend he go to a home with no small children. He still has puppy-like behavior. He is eager to learn though and is working on training with his Pen Pals a few days a week. Troy is enrolled in the Pen Pal program at the shelter (info below). His Pen Pals will help his new family transition him into his new home also.
If Troy sounds like the pup for you, please come meet him soon! The shelter is full, which puts him at risk without an adopter or foster soon. You can contact his Pen Pals through this ad for more info if needed.
He is available for Adoption or Foster @
