SAVE A LIFE – ADOPT DINO!
You can stop looking for your new family member now, because once you see Dino, you won’t need to look any further.
This extremely handsome 3 year old boy is made up of one part beauty and one part brains. He was surrendered to us when his family had to move, so living in a home is still fresh in his mind and we know he wants nothing more than to be back in one ASAP. Dino likes other dogs his own size & bigger but isn’t a fan of those little dogs or cats. With the bigger dogs though, Dino is very eager to play and would just need some help in learning how to properly play with another dog (No humping, Dino!). (check out the video of this meet HERE )
His sweet and gentle nature would make him perfect for just about any home scenario, plus he’s on the smaller side of around 40lbs. He can come off a little shy when meeting new people, but shortly after he warms up and doesn’t want to leave your side. He’s happiest when he is out on walks with his human friends and since he’s pretty easy on the leash, it’s easy to want to spend time with him outside.
Dino did come to us with some skin issues (Deep Pyoderma) due to some type of untreated allergy but with medicine and baths (Dino is such a good boy in the bath) it has been clearing up at a steady pace and is almost as good as new. Also, Dino is an angel in the car so if you wanted to take a beach trip, he’d totally be up for that! Come in to meet the amazing Dino and let’s get him back into a loving home where he belongs!

Biscuit trying out for Mr. March!
Gentle Giant Alert!! Biscuit (A24873689) is our newest gentle giant! He is a 3-5 year old pit bull mix that came in here with his sister (Brittle A24873688) when their owner went to jail. Biscuit has such a sadness in his beautiful face that just shows how much he misses being in a home with a family.
Biscuit was having fun…really!
Biscuit is on the large side of 70lbs but you really wouldn’t know when walking him with a harness. He is an easy-going, laid-back gentleman who is nice to everyone he meets. He takes treats so gently and politely, it’s hard to not give him all of the treats you have!
Biscuit getting snuggled in for the night
He likes to explore his surroundings outside and then enjoys being pet and relaxing afterwards. If you’re looking for a boy that’s heart is as big as his body, then Biscuit is your man. Come to ACCT Philly to foster or adopt this sweet ball of goodness!

This sweet lady is a former mama so that means she has a lot of extra love to give!
She knows some commands and just wants a family to love her!
RIGBY IS CLICKING HIS PAWS BUT THEY’RE NOT WORKING!
Rigby is in search of a forever family-One that won’t abandon him and tie him to a fence like his last one did. He deserves to know what a REAL family is like and to be treated with nothing but love.
Rigby is a 1-2 year terrier mix (possibly mixed with hound) with a stunning look about him. He’s great with kids, takes treats very gently, very easy-going and laid-back, walks very well on the leash, follows commands such as sit/down/come, is playful with other dogs but in a puppy-like manner (unsure about cats, they will perform a cat test on-site if you come in to meet him & have cats at home). He is absolutely perfect and needs a home ASAP!
Help Rigby’s wish come true! Head right down to meet him!

Meet Rigby (A23089062)! Just like in the song of the almost-same name, ‘Eleanor Rigby’, our Rigby came to us a lonely boy. He was found, abandoned, tied to a fence. This makes for one sad story like the song but we’re trying to turn it into a happy ending! Rigby is a young (around 2 years old), terrier mix with gorgeous brindle coloring. He is a tiny guy, easy to handle, with some of the softest fur around. One look into his eyes and you will see the hope and love he has inside of him and will immediately fall in love. Rigby just wants to be loved and he is so easy to love, it’s a wonder as to why he’s still at the shelter! Rigby has shown us that he wants to be happy and being around loving people helps him achieve that. He can easily keep himself entertained with toys, and will easily trade toy for toy, but what he prefers to do most is sit with his humans, and be cuddled. Rigby is also a dog-friendly boy, but does best with more low-key dogs. He’s okay with kids as well, as he’s met a 10 year old and was a gentleman, taking treats from her ever so gently!
Despite his past, Rigby is one lucky boy, as he has not one, but two Pen Pals that are going to make sure he finds the perfect family. Until that happens, they will cuddle him, practice commands with him and make sure he stays the happy, loving boy he is. We don’t know how someone could abandon a boy that wants nothing but to love and be loved, but we do know that he will find a real family and will show that he never has feel lonely and abandoned again. Come meet Rigby and give him the love he deserves.

Buster Boy is ready for a home!
Meet Buster Boy (A22965355), the best boy in town! That’s right, he’s pretty perfect in every way and is a favorite of many of us here! Buster Boy is a young adult mixed breed (Labrador perhaps or just a mix of awesomeness!) who came in as a stray. We know he had a home at one point because of how house trained he is! He’s about 55lbs but in need of some extra goodies to fatten him up a bit. He’s a big fan of treats of any kind and will gently take them from your hands AND catch them in the air! Buster Boy is a playful boy, with both people and dogs, and to watch him run is pretty comical. He’s sure to make you laugh when you watch him run because he looks like a deer learning to walk, it’s just too cute. He will play fetch, run around with you, keep his self busy with toys and will give up toys easily when asked. He’s a fantastic boy on the leash, walks right by your side, loves to sniff around and explore the area. Have to take a car ride somewhere, Buster Boy will climb right into your car and hang out in the back seat. He’s met a 10 year old and ran around the play yards with her, so he would be okay in a home with kids, but just be sure to bring them along to meet him. His favorite thing is to get butt scratches, he loves them! He will lean his whole body in to you for more and give you the biggest smiles. Did we mention his tongue? This boy could most likely be in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest tongue. . …ever!
Buster Boy has been in the doggie playgroups and he has a great time with the calmer, mellow pups. As for the rough and tumble dogs, he prefers to just watch them from afar. He’s a gentle soul so he likes other gentle, calm dogs. He will play bow every dog he sees though and wants to meet them to say hello. If they start to play and they get too hyper for him, he just calmly walks away. Buster Boy is an all-around great boy and would do great in a home with another dog like him. If you’re looking for a new addition to your family, look no further than him, he’s absolutely perfect.
